Laura: Qué bonito es este museo. Nunca había estado aquí antes.

Laura: This museum is beautiful. I’ve never been here before.

Daniel: Yo tampoco.

Daniel: Me neither. I’ve been told that the modern art collection is very interesting.

Laura: Mira ese cuadro. Los colores son increíbles.

Laura: Look at that painting. The colors are incredible.

Daniel: Yes, although I’m not sure what it represents.

Laura: I think it represents a city at night.

Daniel: Puede ser. ¿Quieres leer la descripción?

Daniel: Maybe. Do you want to read the description?

Laura: Yes. It says that the artist painted this picture in 1928.

Daniel: Wow, it’s much older than I thought.

Laura: ¿Vamos a la siguiente sala?

Laura: Shall we go to the next room?

Daniel: Claro. Creo que allí hay esculturas.

Daniel: Sure. I think there are sculptures there.

Laura: Esta escultura parece muy realista.

Laura: This sculpture looks very realistic.

Daniel: Yes, especially the hands and the face. It has a lot of detail.

Laura: ¿Se pueden hacer fotos aquí?

Laura: Are we allowed to take pictures here?

Daniel: Creo que sí, pero sin flash. Hay un cartel en la entrada.

Daniel: I think so, but without flash. There’s a sign at the entrance.

Laura: Perfecto. Quiero sacar una foto de esta escultura.

Laura: Perfect. I want to take a picture of this sculpture.

Daniel: Afterwards, we can go to the ancient history exhibition.

Laura: Buena idea.

Laura: Good idea. And before we leave, I want to stop by the museum shop.

Daniel: De acuerdo. Quizás encontremos algún recuerdo bonito.

Daniel: All right. Maybe we’ll find a nice souvenir.
