Spanish Conversation
Property Manager: Hola, Kevin.
Property Manager: Hi, Kevin. Everything is ready for me to hand over the apartment.
Kevin: Perfecto.
Kevin: Perfect. I brought the signed lease and proof of the deposit.
Property Manager: Sí, ya los tengo registrados. Te voy a dar tres llaves.
Property Manager: Yes, I already have them on file. I'm going to give you three keys.
Kevin: ¿Tres?
Kevin: Three?
Property Manager: One is for the apartment door, one is for the building entrance, and this small one is for the mailbox.
Kevin: Ah, perfecto.
Kevin: Ah, perfect.
Property Manager: I'm also giving you the parking garage remote.
Kevin: Gracias.
Kevin: Thanks. The moving truck is coming tomorrow around nine.
Property Manager: That's fine. Just let the front desk know so they can open the service entrance.
Kevin: ¿Puedo usar el elevador grande?
Kevin: Can I use the large elevator?
Property Manager: Yes, but it has to be reserved for moves.
Kevin: ¿No está reservado todavía?
Kevin: It isn't reserved yet?
Property Manager: No, but I can put you down now. Does nine to twelve work for you?
Kevin: Sí, con eso debe bastar.
Kevin: Yes, that should be enough.
Property Manager: Listo.
Property Manager: Done. One more thing: take pictures of any damage you see today and send them to me.
Kevin: I noticed a small mark on the living room wall.
Property Manager: Yes, that's already in the move-in report, but take a picture anyway.
Kevin: Está bien.
Kevin: Okay.
Property Manager: The water heater is in the laundry area. If you don't get hot water, check that it's on before reporting it.
Kevin: Perfecto. ¿Y la basura dónde se baja?
Kevin: Perfect. And where do I take the trash?
Property Manager: At the back of the parking garage there's a room with the bins.
Kevin: I think that's everything.
Property Manager: Si hoy notas algo que no funcione, avísame. Es mejor reportarlo desde el principio.
Property Manager: If you notice anything today that doesn't work, let me know. It's better to report it from the beginning.
Kevin: Claro. Gracias por explicarme todo.
Kevin: Of course. Thanks for explaining everything.
Property Manager: De nada. Bienvenido al edificio.
Property Manager: You're welcome. Welcome to the building.
