Spanish Conversation

Customer: Disculpe, ¿me puede ayudar?

Customer: Excuse me, can you help me?

Employee: Claro. ¿Qué está buscando?

Employee: Of course. What are you looking for?

Customer: Rice and beans, but I can't find the aisle.

Employee: They're in aisle six, almost at the back.

Customer: Gracias. ¿Y la leche sin lactosa?

Customer: Thanks. And lactose-free milk?

Employee: En refrigerados, junto a la leche normal.

Employee: In the refrigerated section, next to the regular milk.

Customer: Perfecto.

Customer: Perfect.

Employee: ¿Necesita algo más?

Employee: Do you need anything else?

Customer: Sí, tortillas frescas.

Customer: Yes, fresh tortillas.

Employee: The fresh ones are near the bakery. There are packaged ones in aisle four too.

Customer: Prefiero frescas.

Customer: I'd rather have fresh ones.

Employee: Entonces vaya a la panadería y siga derecho.

Employee: Then go to the bakery and keep going straight.

Customer: Muy bien.

Customer: Great. One more thing: do I weigh the tomatoes here or at checkout?

Employee: En caja. Solo los pone en una bolsa.

Employee: At checkout. Just put them in a bag.

Customer: Ah, perfecto.

Customer: Ah, perfect.

Employee: Hoy también hay oferta en aguacate.

Employee: Avocados are on sale today too.

Customer: ¿En serio? ¿Dónde está?

Customer: Really? Where are they?

Employee: In the produce section by the entrance, on the right.

Customer: Gracias.

Customer: Thanks. I'm shopping for the whole week, and I still have half the store left.

Employee: Sí, se nota.

Employee: Yeah, I can tell.

Customer: ¿Eso fue una crítica?

Customer: Was that criticism?

Employee: No, para nada. Solo vi el carrito.

Employee: Not at all. I just saw the cart.

Customer: Justo. Ya casi no cabe nada.

Customer: Fair enough. There's barely any room left.

Employee: If you need another basket, they're by the registers.

Customer: Espero no llegar a eso.

Customer: I hope it doesn't come to that.

Employee: Suerte.

Employee: Good luck.

Customer: Gracias. La voy a necesitar.

Customer: Thanks. I'm going to need it.
