Spanish Conversation
Sofía: Te ves cansado. ¿Qué hiciste el fin de semana?
Sofía: You look tired. What did you do over the weekend?
Jason: More things than I had planned.
Sofía: Eso nunca termina bien.
Sofía: That never ends well.
Jason: El sábado fui a ayudar a un amigo a mudarse.
Jason: On Saturday I went to help a friend move.
Sofía: Ah, con razón.
Sofía: Ah, that explains it.
Jason: I thought it would take a couple of hours, but we finished around six.
Sofía: At least did he feed you?
Jason: Sí. Pedimos pizza cuando terminamos.
Jason: Yes. We ordered pizza when we finished.
Sofía: Bueno, algo es algo. ¿Y el domingo descansaste?
Sofía: Well, that's something. Did you rest on Sunday?
Jason: That was the plan, but my sister came over with my niece and nephew.
Sofía: Entonces no descansaste nada.
Sofía: So you didn't rest at all.
Jason: Nada.
Jason: Not at all. We went to the park, then got ice cream, and then they played at my place until evening.
Sofía: Suena divertido, pero agotador.
Sofía: Sounds fun, but exhausting.
Jason: Lo fue. ¿Tú qué hiciste?
Jason: It was. What did you do?
I went to the market, cooked, and watched a movie.
Jason: Right now, your weekend sounds perfect to me.
Sofía: Te lo cambio por el próximo.
Sofía: I'll trade you next weekend.
Jason: Ni hablar. El próximo no pienso moverme del sofá.
Jason: No way. Next weekend I'm not leaving the couch.
