Read the dialogue to practice natural Spanish for discussing schedules, unfinished reports and presentations, coordinating tasks, asking for help, and adapting quickly when a workplace plan changes unexpectedly.

Andrea: Jason, did you see Marta's email?

Jason: No. ¿Qué pasó?

Jason: No. What happened?

Andrea: They moved the meeting from three to two thirty.

Jason: ¿En serio? Todavía no termino el reporte.

Jason: Seriously? I still haven't finished the report.

Andrea: Yo tampoco he terminado mis diapositivas.

Andrea: I haven't finished my slides either.

Jason: Genial.

Jason: Great.

Andrea: Tranquilo. Solo adelantaron media hora.

Andrea: Relax. They only moved it up half an hour.

Jason: Media hora que necesitaba.

Jason: Half an hour I needed.

Andrea: ¿Qué te falta?

Andrea: What do you still need to do?

Jason: Check the numbers from the last week. The file I have doesn't match the dashboard.

Andrea: Yo descargué los datos esta mañana.

Andrea: I downloaded the data this morning.

Jason: ¿Me los puedes mandar?

Jason: Can you send it to me?

Andrea: Sí. Dame un segundo.

Andrea: Yes. Give me a second.

Jason: Gracias.

Jason: Thanks.

Andrea: Ya.

Andrea: Sent.

Jason: A ver... sí, estos son distintos.

Jason: Let's see... yeah, these are different.

Andrea: I think they updated two sales that were still pending.

Jason: Eso explica la diferencia.

Jason: That explains the difference.

Andrea: Do you want me to check the total after you change it?

Jason: Yes, please. I've been staring at these numbers so long I don't trust my eyes anymore.

Andrea: Te entiendo.

Andrea: I know the feeling.

Jason: ¿Tú necesitas algo para tu parte?

Jason: Do you need anything for your part?

Andrea: Las cifras finales, justamente.

Andrea: The final numbers, actually.

Jason: Then I'll send you the report as soon as I'm done.

Andrea: Perfecto.

Andrea: Perfect. In the meantime, I'll finish the campaign section.

Jason: Is the meeting still in the big conference room?

Andrea: Sí. Eso no cambió.

Andrea: Yes. That didn't change.

Jason: Menos mal.

Jason: Thank goodness.

Andrea: Mira el lado bueno: si terminamos antes, salimos antes.

Andrea: Look on the bright side: if we finish earlier, we leave earlier.

Jason: Esa teoría me gusta.

Jason: I like that theory.

Andrea: Then stop complaining and finish the report.

Jason: Sí, jefa.

Jason: Yes, boss.

Andrea: No te acostumbres.

Andrea: Don't get used to it.
